A simple, sweet treat to make with the kids or simply to enjoy with that 4pm coffee!
Ingredients:
Dry:
- 200g Oats
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 30g chopped dates
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp salt
Wet:
- 200ml milk
- 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp melted honey
- 2 grated carrots
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees
- Mix all dry ingredients together
- In a separate bowl mix all the wet ingredients together
- Add all the ingredients in one large bowl and stir
- Grease a medium baking tray and add mixture
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes
- Once cooked, let them cool and add a drizzle of icing sugar or top with walnuts
